“That's just stuff from work, that's all.” James doesn’t believe her. He slaps Brenda in the face and she screams and runs from the kitchen. He follows. “You lyin' woman.” Knowing she’s about to be beaten, she tries to run away. “Stop it James, what's wrong with you?”

James grabs Brenda and throws her to the floor. Then he stands over her waiving the brochure. Brenda begins to cry and puts her hand up to block any punches he might throw at her. “You ain't never brought stuff like this home from work before.”
